Big uproar over Blake still wearing his wedding ring on the show. Auditions were filmed in June and he hadn't filed for divorce yet.

Good singers this year. There were a couple really bad auditions. I don't remember them airing the bad ones before. I always feel so bad for them especially when they look close to tears and they have to stand up there and try to talk.

I feel bad for them too. So far Jordan and Barrett are the standouts for me.

Yep. ^^^^

I liked Blind Joe a lot too, and Ellie Lawrence has a really cool tone and delivery.

They're already cutting qualifiers out of the show that airs. I HATE that!

Thus far, Jordan Smith and Jimmy Dupre are standouts.

And I liked that Sean kid, the one they asked if he was
superman.
And the other young man who sang in the rest homes. I thought that was touching.
And his rendition of Overjoyed was great, imo.

I missed the girl that got all excited when gwen turned her chair around, and then pointed at her. And got the t-shirt.
Was she any good?

That was Ellie Lawrence. Indie rocker. I liked her a lot. Here's her audition.

I was hoping Chuck Woolery's son was good. Unfortunately, he was one of the ones that was pretty bad.

I was a little shocked at how old Chuck looked. I haven't seen him in a while. But even more shocked was that 80's Miami Vice jacket he was wearing.

Some really good singers already! I can't even pick a favorite yet - I like too many of them.

But Jordan Smith is freaking AMAZING.
