Parts of it I liked, some I didn't but it was okay. I'm thinking it needs more than just a contrived group of super convicts who are almost as powerful as she is.

Agreed. It was too formula. It has potential, we'll see!

I thought it was great actually. Melissa Benoist is a great throwback to Christopher Reeve's "oh golly gee" super hero. I didnt like that apparently licensing (guessing) doesnt allow them to use the name "Superman", "Superboy" or "Kal-El". It got a little silly referring to him as "him" or "he" 100 times. Beyond that I thought it was good.

I agree. It was actually better than I expected; now I want to see if they can stay consistent.

My expectations were low, but the pilot was pretty solid.

I'll keep watching; the show has potential.

That film starred Helen Shaver, not Helen Slater.

Ms. Shaver was 34 years old when Desert Hearts was made in 1985. Helen Slater would have been 22 years old that year.

I loved all the cast...Lexy Grey from Grey's Anatomy, great!
Loved her loving, protective character as an agent and sister.
Like her tough boss.
Calista is gorgeous, loved her clothes and office!
She did a great job.
Does James Olson have enough muscles?
Seen him before can't remember where, will look him up. Edit: Desperate Housewives!
Fun show!

And she was darling, from Littleton, CO, yay!

Go Broncos!

I watched it out of curiosity to see Calista Flockhart and Mehcad Brooks. I actually enjoyed the show. BUT, it just seems like such an old forumula. Not sure how long it will keep my attention.

Yes, Melissa Benoist was very charming and appealing on screen - and, not just because she's physically attractive, but I loved her personality, too. (like, when she is watching the news talking about her saving the plane...)
