Now I am into season 2 of Narcos and in some ways I think it's better than Narcos Mexico. I was annoyed that some of the major characters in this series were actually fictional, but it really did a great job of recreating history from those days. One thing I thought interesting was that the guy that played Pablo, Wagner Moura, had to learn Spanish for the role. On some YouTube comments, I've read that his accent was bad. Since I don't speak Spanish, I couldn't tell anyhow so not a distraction for me.
Late too! I watched Narcos Mexico first. I started Narcos this weekend. I have to agree that Narcos is better but I'm only on Season 1. I'm enjoying it so far.

I'm midway through season 2 and season 1 was definitely better (though it's still good).

There were some scenes that I thought were a bit over the top and obviously given the Hollywood treatment.

I think the reason why I like Narcos compared to Narcos Mexico so far, is because I like the characters in Narcos better. They are more compelling and in some ways more likable.

I liked Ozark. It was good but not a two-season wait good. I quit tracking it's release date. I can't imagine why it has taken so long. It doesn't strike me as a particularly difficult or expensive show to film. For the most part, the same applies to Narcos.

Narcos Mexico can go on for many many more season seeing as how the drug war in Mexico is still ongoing.

Honestly, I like to see someone tackle the asian drug trade.

I love to binge watch so I'll hold off on watching until most of the episodes are released. I have plenty to occupy my time until then.
