I just noticed this. Miracle on 34th, It's a Wonderful Life, and even A Christmas Story used to run constantly on regular TV during the season. I have not seen any of these on. Anyone else notice this? Tons of holiday movies, just mostly new ones.

They are all on CBC TV out of Vancouver, BC, which is on our cable system here in the Seattle area. Best to watch on the DVDs/Blueray anyway, much better quality and no commercials.

TCM has been showing lots of old Christmas movies. On Wednesday they'll have Christmas in Connecticut, Holiday Affair, Meet me in St. Louis ("Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas!"), The Bishop's Wife, and Shop Around the Corner, among others.

Its a Wonderful life is always on NBC on Christmas Eve. It was also on NBC December 5, and on USA Network Dec. 13, 14 and 20.

A Christmas Story airs all day on Christmas on TBS. The marathon starts at 8pm Christmas eve and goes until 8pm on Christmas. It will also be on TNT during this time.

Miracle on 34th Street is on AMC at 10am on Christmas Eve. The 1994 version will be on AMC tomorrow at 11am.

Thanks guys!! I was really wanting to catch Miracle the other day. I looked at all of the channels and nothing. It seems like it used to be on waaay before the 24th or 25th, like soon after Thanksgiving!

AMC played it on December 10, 18 and 21. And Sundance aired it on the 20.

Not only that, but usually the TV versions have parts of the movies cut out to make room for the commercials.

What is "regular" TV?

"Miracle on 34th Street" has been running on AMC all week. The others may have as well, but I wouldn't have noticed since I don't watch those.

A quick online search of TV schedule will usually show something depending on your cable package.
