I used to be a TV junkie back in the day..but over the last couple of years, i really have little interest in TV. I think its mostly because of whats on. I see the previews of these shows and the dumb premise, the cokie cutter characters, the lame laugh track, the story lines are just awful...As of right now, the only shows I watch are "Supernatural" and "Vikings". That is it. I no longer interested in the walking dead, fear the walking dead, any kind of sitcom (I might watch "last man standing" since it was funny)

Anyone else getting burned out on TV?

I watch about an hour a day. I mainly do Netflix, Amazon Prime, and the premium channels. There is very little that I watch on network TV. I am hanging in there for the very last season of Big Bang Theory just to see how it plays out.

I do enjoying watching The Last Ship for professional reasons. Otherwise, I really do enjoy the premium programming.

I watch far too much, although a lot of it is in the background while I am doing something else.

I watch a lot! But today I reduced my watching time by listening to the radio.

What a bunch of slackers. I watch two to four hours of scripted TV a day.

Much like you, I have lost a lot of interest in TV in the past few years. Many weeknights, I watch none, spending more time online or reading. On weekends or other nights maybe 1-2 hours.

Nothing really interests me right now and I get bored of things very quickly. I've been trying to get back into Orange in the New Black and Insecure but I don't feel much interest in keeping up and don't feel like I have to watch the next episode.

I've chalked it up to my incredibly short attention span and life's distractions ie. family stuff.

Same here. I almost always have the TV on when I'm at my desk, usually the news. After 26 years, writing appraisal reports bores me to tears, so I need a little distraction. I do have a few favorite shows in the evening when I actually want to watch TV and pay attention.

Couple of hours, sometimes. Typically watch Headline News in the morning, local news in the evening, maybe a show in the late evening.
