Have you checked recently? My dad has comcast and he has Paramount. He got Yellowstone set up to record yesterday as a matter of fact. But maybe it's regional.
It may be regional. It may be that he has a higher-tiered cable package than we do. But we don't get the Paramount network.
BTW, on the Comcast channel issue, they definitely have different lineups in different parts of the country. Comcast has bought cable operators over the years, and often stays with what they bought. All the way down to hardware. We have different equipment in Houston, which was Time Warner before Comcast bought them, than for example, Dallas, which has always been Comcast.
We get TVLand in SD, whereas most of Comcast gets it in HD.
And to add to that, there are different packages with varying channel lineups. It ain't easy.

I'm sure it also has something to do with deals with the networks. We used to get both SPIKE TV (now the Paramount Network) and the Cartoon Network. Now we get neither.
Better than most of the reviews. The daughter has potential
