Yes, because I’d have an active life, myself.

Likely why they are separated.

I don’t think she’s overly needy, just exhausted being married to someone with a savior complex.
No reason she should be happy about having to compete with his job for time and attention.
Why stay married if one isn’t married in practice?
It’s a shame she had to have a difficult pregnancy and become an in-patient to get his attention.

I don’t know enough about the book this is based on to know if the real-life marriage survived, but if this is an ongoing storyline, I hope they try to recognize that it isn’t the 1950s anymore. If he wants to devote 99% of his time and attention to his job, that’s on him.
If she ends up leaving him, I hope he turns out to be astute enough to grasp a little bit of why.
But, many people with those sorts of obsessions rarely are.

In the meantime, back to saving the world one entertaining case at a time.

Yes. This.

Also, I'd be out spending all that doctor money!!!

(if you knew me in real life, you'd know that I abhor shopping and would definitely not be doing this)

P.S. I really like the show, despite all its improbabilities. It's TV, not Tolstoy. If we wanted to look at the crap we have to go through in our own lives day by day, there'd be no viewers. LOL

I stopped watching this series halfway through second episode
Think the writing is really not that great but just didn't care about any of the characters really

I thought it would be like second coming of ER--but not

This is now on opposite A Million Little Things which I watched instead. Doubt either one will last more than one season.

I think this is my favorite show this season. I guess I'm an anomaly.

I'm neutral on this show so far. I already have The Good Doctor, The Resident, and Chicago Med on each week, so it's just not really sticking out.
