well im officially done with this one too many people to keep straight and there are just too many secrets with this one and it is no longer entertainment which is what tv is all about ,
I liked the first two episodes but I was so tired from not sleeping well for days that I took an Ambien last night and fell asleep just before 10 p.m. so I have no idea what happened. Will have to Hulu it later.
I don't know why everyone is acting like it's a huge cast... The main storyline is 6 people. The same number as Friends. How to Get Away With Murder has 10 main characters... And most of those doctor shows seem to have even more characters.
Just counting the adult main characters Modern Family has 6, This is Us has 7, and Parenthood had 8... Most shows have larger casts as it gives the writers more storylines. A show like this about only 2 or 3 people would get boring pretty quickly.
A Million Little Things has...
Rome- director and Regina's husband
Regina- chef and Rome's wife
Eddie- Used to play in a band, married to Katherine, has a son Theo
Delilah- Jon's widow, had an affair with Eddie
Gary- Breast cancer survivor, met Maggie in group therapy.
Maggie- A therapist who has breast cancer. Just moved to Boston from Chicago
Yeah, there is also Jon, his assistant Ashley, Katherine, Theo, Danny, and Sophie... But they don't really feel like main characters. The show is more about the core group of friends Eddie, Gary, and Rome. And then Regina, Delilah and Maggie are a big part of their lives... Or will be a big part in Maggie's case.
Interesting the code between men...You never screw with a buddy's wife.
I get it.
But, then there is a pull...and then you fall in love and you have no sense...no logic...you are dizzy for the other...swept up in something more powerful than you.
I did respect Grace Parks saying I came to tell u off...but...you've suffered enough....paraphrase, from my take.
I got halfway through and then my screen said Hulu was having trouble loading the content so I had to wait an hour to watch the rest. Wow - the big secret is out, now we have to wait to find out why Jon killed himself and what is going on with the secretary. I wonder how they will keep this show going for more than one season.
Was Jon born in a test tube? No parents, siblings or any family have spoken to his wife or kids? We saw people at the funeral, but no family spoke up? Does his wife have any family? No parents or siblings have come to try to comfort her or the daughter? Just these other friends.

The show isn't about Jon's family or Delilah's family, it's about this group of friends.
