Never been a huge DC fan but I've been really enjoying both of their original shows. Not sure I'm willing to continue paying monthly to watch them, but I haven't minded coughing up my first months ransom.
Wondering how long this fractured approach to streaming content can last. I mean, I pay for Netflix, Hulu and Prime (though that's more of a throw in), not sure I'm willing to expand out beyond those (and likely to jettison Hulu as well).
I just started binging Doom Patrol. I'm also wary of how many streaming services I can afford. But I saw the pilot episode of Doom Patrol on Youtube, and thought it was great.
I binged Titans and watched about four DPs. Excellent stuff, but it's not worth an extra $7 a month for, basically, those two programs and a slew of DC animateds I've either seen or can see elsewhere. Access to the book runs doesn't interest me, although I can see how that would tip the scales for some subscribers.
This fragmentation of streaming is driving me crazy. Waiting for the inevitable return to consolidation in about, oh, (glances at watch)...
BTW, it's a bit of a secret or at least not announced, but that's not Brendan Fraser in the Robot Man suit. He does face, voice and flashback appearance only.
