Great series, big fan of Bacon. The actor, not the breakfast meat.

Kevin Bacon is good playing a real sleazeball FBI agent. So far it's a good show. It is heating up with the preacher, Seth Gilliam from The Walking Dead and his antics. Plus the crazy Jimmy Ryan that Frankie can't handle.

Kevin Bacon is Killing it, very underrated Actor and a very underrated Career imo. The guy that plays Frankie Ryan(Johnathan Tucker) is a pretty accomplished Actor and was just written off another show called Snowfall.
The Show reminds of the movie, "The Town" but the cops version of things. Love the Actress that plays Frankie's wife, she good

Decent enough....but they use just about every cliche from every mob movie & TV show ever made. Bit of a jumbled mess. But what do I know...it was renewed for a second season

This^^^
Makes me wonder what they have in store for season 2. Kevin Bacon's Character,"Jackie" drives the show,
What Terrible Human Being.
The show is supposed to set in the early 90's. The look and attitude is fine, but the Music sucks. Maybe they should get Jay-Z's rock nation to do the music Score

Yes...the music choices are bizarre.

Its all about the accents. It started with Mystic River. The accent fly under the radar though. Next came Departed which is probably best known for the terrible accents. Once everyone heard those terrible accents, the trend/bandwagon got started. The following movies like Shutter Island, Gone Baby Gone, The Town, Live by Night, Black Mass, Edge of Darkness, capitalized on that. Good Will Hunting deserves a mention, but I not sure how prominent the accets are.
