in Season 1 they kill Peter a scientist, which I wish they keep in the show. Then beginning of season 2 they lost Lt Ford one of the main character. Why cast him if they weren't going to keep him. Then in Season 3 Dr Carlson Becket, a big shock to the fans and also a main character in the show. Now they are trying to bring him back. In Season 4 Dr. Weir was written out of the show. Why do they keep doing it?
It is heading to season 5 this summer there has been disappointment after disappointment.
It was cancelled last year and there is a new series now called Stargate Universe. No franchise will air as long as SG1 will since the producers want to keep the series to a few seasons and put out direct-to-DVD movies after those series finish. The 2 upcoming movies will be Stargate: Extinction and Stargate: Revolution.
There is also talks of 2 sequels that will follow the original movie to make a trilogy.

I know about Stargate Universe - I've been watching it - but that's sad about Atlantis. I really liked that show. Oh well.
