I like what I've seen so far. The political themes don't bother me a bit. It's the age we live in. A lot of familiar faces so there's no getting used to new actors. Looking forward to whatever the future holds for this freshman offering
While I like it quite a bit I hate when a TV show turns the main character into almost a superhero who can make no bad decisions. She's like King Solomon in the Bible.

Oh, I think you're missing one HUGE flaw. She's too buddy buddy with the young prosecutor, who may very well have cases before her. Ethically, she should recuse herself from any case he's involved in.

To be fair it isnt that she is "buddy buddy" with him. They are best friends who went to law school together and then served in the prosecutors office. That said, I dont think he has ever appeared before so I dont believe the issue has ever come up.

Well, to be fair, she tries cases in his jurisdiction.

Right, everyone needs a friend in their workplace & he's never been in her courthouse case before. Notice the show shows their work is always separate from each other & it's too much trouble for the show to show them at 2 different courthouses PLUS, it's just a TV show & as we know, every single aspect isn't always realistic.

The beauty of a show being set in Los Angeles County or any other big city, is that they would have to force a reason for her to be on a case with her best friend Deputy DA prosecuting with so many options for substitutes. This show has other judges and the presiding judge as part of the reoccurring and regular cast. It is not Rome Wisconsin of Picket Fences with just the DA, just Judge Bone and just Douglas Wambaugh for the defense where they all are friends.
I am really liking this show, as I have stated before. I am starting to remember the characters names now. I like the "Sherri" character, so formal, but I like her.
