At first it didn’t bother me but after a while it was just too damn much. I’m not into it. I don’t care if people are gay but I don’t want to watch it that much. I assume many gay men don’t want to watch straight sex either.

To he clear, I understand it’s not real sex just graphic sex scenes.
You don't like? Hit the remote.

You wouldn't expect a series titled ”Messiah” to be in the porn category however sadly it was. Enjoyed watching the series however the sex scenes which were over the top ruined it for me.

"Want" is maybe the wrong word, but they certainly don't go around moaning about and avoiding shows or movies with straight sex in them.

But you made the choice to watch a series with a gay character in a relationship in a main role. Sex is part of most people's lives, so these shows depicting people and their lives are going to show all aspects of that without judgement. You can fast forward through the parts you don't like--I do that when there are fight scenes and car chases. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

IMO, the sex scenes should be the least of your concerns with the Borgias. There's so much other stuff in that show that isn't appropriate for young people (assuming that you have a problem with the sex scenes due to the age of your family members).

Lol, the OP said they didn't like sex and nudity in shows but they were OK with violence apparently so I was just noting that the reason there wasn't nudity was bc it was on AMC originally.

I feel like I watched a documentary a while ago about a guy (either LDS or Evangelical) who recut Hollywood movies to edit out all of the sex and bad language, and sold/rented his copies. He kept getting in trouble and shut down for copyright violations, and eventually got more in trouble for some variety of sexual misconduct, I think?

Aha, I was right: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CleanFlicks

Yes. Yes. Young studio executives that are sycophant voyeurs.

So you don't think that ratings matter to these executives?
