I like Mary Lou because she has a quiet confidence, she stays focused and delivers on flavors, she has shown she has a voice and can lead, and most of all, she does all that while being humble, having a sense of humor, and not taking herself too seriously.

Well that didn't go the way I thought it would! Congrat's to the final two.

Funny to see Declan's mom nudge dad to clap for his son in that one shot. Looks like dada was kind of disconnected.

When they brought out all of the former contestants to choose teams, I noticed there really wasn't too much to work with! Once the first two guys were picked, the rest were a toss up (well maybe Nikki and Adam would be an asset on their teams).

That scene also showed that Amber STILL doesn't get it... She's a culinary star in her own mind.

Till next week, Donkeys!

I just got out of three weeks of time out and wanted to ask this question when it happened but couldn't:

Did anyone else have any cognitive dissonance when Declan was put up for elimination because of his "temper"? This by people who are hanging out with Gordon Ramsay on a show where he's in a permanent state of pissed off.

I'm sad to see Declan go but it's going to be a great finale! Amber is still a total clueless clam. I hope none of them sabotage them!!

Amber ... OY:smack ::smack

That being said ... I thought DecLAND did very well, but somebody had to go. Likewise, Marylou and Cory are top notch, but "there can only be one", so ... somebody gotta go.

I knew Declan and Cody would be the first donkeys picked and I knew Nicki would be picked next. After that it was anybody's guess, but I did have a feeling Marc and/or Amber would be the last two cows to be picked. I'm sure either of them or both of them will seek revenge by intentionally sabotaging their teams. That just seems to be who they are - especially Amber.

I still don't know who I'm braying for because both ladies are so good!!! But I suppose Cory seems more well-rounded. Marylou said she isn't a classy person (food wise) and is more about southern comfort food. Nothing wrong with that, and I'm sure she can whip up "classy" food - it looks like she already has in past episodes. Maybe Cory has an edge over Marylou because of that? I don't know. It's a tough decision ... and I'm just a donkified cow sitting back watching the drama unfold - imagine what a tough decision this is for GR!!!!! :shock ed:

I can't wait until next week, but OTOH, that just means no more HK for God knows how long!!!

Until next week, donks .....

Sincerely,

Your Wild Burro Twinkle

Too bad Declan left, I don't really care which one of the final two wins. I think Mary Lou would look so much better with a normal color hair. It's distracting.
