Although I think "The Expanse" is the best space sci fi show on TV right now it has not done what Apple TV's "For All Mankind" did.

Revive my interest in real spaceflight and space exploration.

Immediately after finishing the first season I checked out movies like "Apollo 13", "First Man", "Hidden Figures", "Salyut-7", "Interstellar", "Gravity", and "The Martian" which is my favorite of the three sci fi astronaut movies.

I did not know how much we benefited from the space program.

I also didn't realize how interesting the history of spaceflight and space exploration was.

"For All Mankind" was the show we needed even if it is just another cheesy soap opera.
