Not crazy about FreeVee--if we're paying Amazon for Prime why should we have to watch commercials?
I agree, it's double dipping on Amazon's part, especially given that they just increased the cost of Prime earlier this year. These shows should be commercial-free for Prime subscribers and leave the commercials for everyone else that doesn't have Prime.
It's on TV now on a service called Freevee. I gather it's a free service from Amazon with commercials. I don't think you have to be a Prime subscriber to watch, but you pay the price of having the show interrupted by commercials.
So I guess this will eventually focus on Maddie? She being the Legacy LAPD officer.
This first Legacy season is based on Connelly's The Wrong Side of Goodbye from 2016. If this new series is going to follow the recent books, there will be a new female character introduced.
Seems like this show is just a way for Amzn for not paying some of the cast what they want, and not have to recast their characters with different actors.
But so far show is pretty good. Kind of hard to believe skinny Maddy can take down suspect trying to flee though. Got to suspend belief and let imagination take over.
Am I the only one who is deeply disappointed in the new Legacy episodes? I think they're boring as can be. There's just no spark to this series and far too much time is spent on the Maddie character.
Hubby and I are giving it a chance but if it continues with this sleepy, boring version of what used to be a fantastic series, we'll have to pass on it. I'm also not buying into the story of the Whitney Vance character looking for an heir. This heir would be a complete stranger to him at this stage of his life.

I think that is due, in part, to the commercial breaks. The episodes lack the flow of previous versions and why I rarely watch programs with commercials. The commercials were few and far between in the first 4 episodes, but there were way too many in episodes 5-6.
