I got some 1980s episodes of "Neighbours" and its literally the most entertaining show I've ever seen..... but I don't like the current episodes of it.
I just like the 80s episodes because Australians had really interesting dialogue in that era, whereas today they sound boring (too similar to American speech), so I have no interest in watching the recent episodes of Neighours.
A Place to Call Home, though it got soapier as the seasons went by.
Mystery Road
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Not Australian (NZ) but Brokenwood Mysteries
Not quite like anything I have ever seen. Imagine if MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE and THE SOPRANOS went into a teleporter and came out the other side as one show. You might have something kinda like this. It was streaming on Prime last time I looked.
We are enjoying watching the Australian versions of show like Survivor (on sh.video). I think Jonathon is as good (if not better) than Propst. They also have NZ and South African versions of various shows.
I've only watched two and enjoyed them both. A Place To Call Home & The Heart Guy.
And not sure if 800 Words is classified a New Zealand series or Australian. An Australian widower moved his teenage kids, a boy and a girl to New Zealand. Not for everyone I guess but I liked it. Just wish there had been more seasons produced.
