CBS's much talked about show Swingtown aired last night at 10:00 i thought it wasnt as bad as everyone was saying it was going to be.
what did you think of Swingtown?
Well I was a kid in the 70's and LOVED the music. I thought it was entertaining but like all new shows, it is going to take a few episodes before it really gets any good. I am going to continue watching it. The only thing that kept popping into my mind was thinking about all my friends parents back then or my parents friends having parties like this. Kinda creepy. I am not saying the lifestyle is creepy, but thinking about the adults that were around when you were a kid swapping is creepy. Someone in another group I read said they thought the couple jumped into swinging too fast and maybe it should have been drawn out more but who knows? I am just happy there is a new show on! The song Dreamweaver is never going to be the same though....
I meant to tivo it! Hopefully they'll show it again.
Go to CBS.com and they have the full show there, domergurl. I just watched it. It wasn't bad. It actually was interesting to me seeing how the lives were of the characters. I guess I was feeling like a "peeping Thomasina" watching it!
I thought it was interesting and will keep watching to see where they go with it. Reminds me of being a little kid in the 70's and the music was good. I guess it is the first nostalgic show of an era I remember so I find that a little compelling.
Wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, I'll give this one some time.
