Well, tonight's episode was not the most exciting; but it sure did clear up a lot!
There are a LOT of story lines going on right now! As much as I am entertained by Tommy, he really knows how to go out of his way to be hated, doesn't he? I don't think there is any hope for his character to be expanded at all this season (too many other things going on) but I would like to see him again next season, working more with his brother....once the BOTH sort out their angst issues!
Jason surprised me; he did some of the 'right things' for once. I just wonder how Tara will be dealing with it all.
All of the Old South race-terror imagery was weird this week. The burning cross at Bill's place? Sookie having that iron collar on a chain placed around her neck? Wow.
Russell is absolutely out of his mind...it has been confirmed.
The trippy scene with Lafayette & Jesus; it was way too long...and I am not sure what on earth the point of it all was.
Eric has turned shady again. I am disappointed; but I guess that he is just slated as a villain in this show, and it is what it is. Oh well.
They are all unraveling at the same time in the same episode. Tara, Jason, Crystal, Eric, Tommy, Sam. They are all going off the deep end at the same time. It feels like the producers are rushing too fast to get the point across when they should just slow down a bit.
I liked the scene where Lafayette and Jesus took the vamp blood. It was a trip seeing them go back and watch all the different kinds of magic that were practiced through the ages. I have a feeling Jesus is going to get addicted to the vamp blood.
Russell is beyond crazy. I'm anxious to find out who will have the power, smarts or just dumb luck enough to be able to kill him.
I'm thinking Jesus might turn out to be a sorcerer or maybe become/channel one...or maybe something will happen with Lafayette and whatever power he's supposed to have.
Yeah - Sam was acting like a major poopoo!
I can't wait for the next episode!!! Even though I've read the books - I have no idea what is going to happen because the show has become completely different from the books. It's making it more exciting for me - more surprises! But I REALLY hope they don't off Eric! Ohhhhhh Eric!
I don't know if I follow where they are going with turning Sam into an alcoholic A-hole. Although I do like him and Tara together. And what was Tommy doing? He seemed very out of character tonight.
It is pretty clear that both Eric and Bill are shady. However Eric has a more 'together' personality than Bill. It makes Bill seem like his is good for nothing....errgh!
