New twist - two of the 18 contestants listed in the above link will be selected to not go on the journey the first episode. You can vote which two you think it will be.

Looks beautiful - and looks like it's going to be another exciting season of Survivor!

RIP Alton Desiree, the cast member who drowned on set of this upcoming season.

We have it marked on our planner!

Wow I haven't read anything on the new show thanks for the links. That is sad a cast member drowned.

Thanks for the info, Don'tH8. I didn't realize it was starting so soon!

Very sad about the crew member, Alton. Guess he was underwater fixing something.

That is definitely a sad story. I wonder what happened, more to the story you know. (not saying something suspicious is going on or something.) Dominica is a small island, loubiere right on the coast. He obviously knew how to swim. I just wonder what happened to cause him to drown. Poor guy.

Well, I'll be sure to make a note of the date. Thanks.

There seems to be no informational items out there about this death. I'm guessing not much was made of it at the time? What a shame for his wife.

Ready to duke it out again? I know you and I were on totally different sides of the fence when it came to Crystal last season, LOL! It's all in fun though, right

My s/o and I are ready for the new season. We no longer have anything to watch on Thursday nights (I like The Principals Office, but he's not so much into it), and now my school schedule gives me enough time to get home from class by the time 8:00 rolls around. No need to DVR this season!

Bring it on I am ready! I miss our thread and talking to ya all I really, really do! It is also harder to 'spread the love around' when one of my major threads goes dead and not picking up another to participate in.

I am so ready for it to start because there is nothing on TV worth watching to me except reruns of Little House on the Prairie.

I had to laugh about your "Little House" comment. Life in those times was kind of like "Survivor" in a way! What did they do without their Ipods, GPS, cell phones (heaven forbid a world without texting!) and the such I have often said that I think I was meant to be born during the times of the Ingalls family! Much simpler life. But I wouldn't go so far as saying I'd want to live like those who make it through the trials on Survivor. Looking forward to the new season, too. Catch you all in a couple of weeks!

You know you are right there is a direct correlation between LHOTP and Survivor now that I think about it! I could so live like the Ingalls but I would want indoor plumbing. I already live off my land, I know how to survive without modern appliances although they are nice.

I could even live at a Survivor camp and do most of the challenges if I had too in order to survive. I'd miss my real toothbrush. See you soon!
