Is anyone planning to watch NBC's replacement for Manifest, called The Enemy Within? It stars Jennifer Carpenter, whom I've liked in Limitless and, especially, Dexter. The show also features Raza Jaffrey, who should never have been fired from Code Black, and Noah Bean, whom I remember liking in the first season of Damages. I will be watching. Talk tomorrow.

I'll watch it but probably not until I have a few episodes stacked up. Lots of other things to get through

I watched it last night. Better than I thought it would be. I like Jennifer Carpenter in most everything she does.

It's not drop-dead great, but good enough to keep watching for now. I'd give it a solid B.

It's another show starring someone who knows everything like Reed on Criminal minds. Jennifer Carpenter's character sees details that no one else does and figures out what is going to happen based on minute clues.

Dexter did that too if I remember correctly
Guess she learned from her brother/husband...

I like it so far. It's a little campy with lines like "you can't do it without me" etc. I really like Jennifer, so I'll continue to watch. The story line is solid. The characters act well together. It's worth giving it a go.

I thought it was great. The close ups on Jennifer (CIA-Shepherd's )mouth or eye as she is watching all the details...a watch, a coffee mug, that she sees FBI Kate loves 'somebody'...that being super skinny makes you look damn good in clothes. That she is treated like Hannibal Lecter then they even call her that!
The love connection between her and 'can't say'...that she is like a MacGyver, also.
And Raza Jaffrey I know from 3 Seasons of Spooks...USA name MI-5, glad he's there.

FBI Kate I know as playing Marilyn Monroe and also with Ryan Gosling in 'Lars and the Real Girl'.
I like that the bad guy Tal is very smart, also, and will probably take us on a hunt through a whole season.
Loved the beginning plot of killings...won't say more. Loved the cool 'map thing'.
Love plot intrigue they stuck in at the end...shhh.

Loved her in Dexter.

I loved it, and agree with you point for point except for that bit of intrigue in the last scene, which I saw coming as soon as I realized she was involved. I am so glad to see Jennifer and Raza again. Also, new guy Noah Mills. Can't wait 'til next week.

Most of all, I like it ten thousand times more than Manifest, which I still like, but a show like this makes sense.
