Default MTV's Jersey Shore

I walked through the living room as my teenaged daughter was watching this. Unbelievable how skanky some young adults are. Clothes coming off in the hottub moments after meeting, sleeping with your housemates, wow. Of course, I'm hooked. MTV, can you please give me back those 2 hours???

I watched with my daughter (whos in her 20's) and I could not believe people acted this way. But like you, I was hooked.

Count me third. I cannot believe I spent more than 30 seconds on this one - especially after seeing the tans and hair! But -yet I did. I need a group ala "Hello my name is Stillthesame."

When I was a teenager and there was something trashy on TV, my mother would say "turn that trash off" and not encourage me to watch it by sitting next to me and watching for two hours.

This is the reason why filth like this has taken over TV. I don't understand how anyone could watch one minute of any of these disgusting shows about brain-dead pieces of trash with no cares in the world other than their looks and their parties. "Real Housewives" is another one of these. Even "The Bachelor" is horrible.

The moment I hear the voices of those airheads on "The Hills" I want to cringe. I wish I could find the producers responsible for putting that junk on the air so I could punch them right in the nose. They've ruined TV. Even the "History Channel" has "reality" shows on now.

I think I need to open a penicillin store somewhere on the Jersey Shore. STDs must be rampant!

Plus, I could only imagine how proud their moms must be.

I watched it last night, disgusting...I don't think I'll be "hooked" to this ****/gigolo-fest. I'm 21 & I would NEVER visit one of those STD-infested "Spring Break" hangouts...especially NOT the Jersey shoaaa!

I don't think I could get past the accents.. Just what we need, more trashy 18-24 people on tv (like Real World). Drama queens and hook ups...I saw the promo on tv and said, "no way.." (At first, before they showed the title, I thought it was Long Island.) Plenty of partying, little substance..you know, like some Montauk hangout..

Believe me, it was like watching a car wreck. It did make for good conversation about values and choices. We love the Independent Movie Channel on cable though. Oh, and Masterpiece Theatre.
