Did anybody watch Raising Hope last night? I thought it was funny, touching and wacky. Really good writing. Cloris Leachman was a hoot and Martha Plimpton was terrific. A definite keeper on my DVR lineup. And no, I don't work for the show!

Could'nt take my eyes off the TV. Storyline is something new- depressing & funny at the same time. The baby at the execution-did'nt see that coming! Will be watching.

Funny! As a new grandmother, I thought it was hilarious - mainly because my DS and DIL are about as skilled at babies as the characters in the show......and they fell off the couch laughing at the smoking grandmother - it could have been based on DIL's mother!

They have a great cast and a WONDERFUL bunch of writers. I loved the show. Reminded me in some ways of Arrested Development. This show is definitely on my "keepers" list.

I just watched it last night. Not too impressed...

I'll probably tune in one or two more times, but I wasn't too thrilled with the writing, acting, or the storyline. Most new sitcoms start out bland, though, and get better with time.
