CBS, announcing its fall schedule Wednesday, is canceling long-running series Cold Case, cult fave Ghost Whisperer and sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine, along with mid-season drama Miami Medical.

But Christine might not be over yet: ABC will consider picking the show up in coming weeks: "I love her," programming chief Steve McPherson says of star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, but the decision comes down to "how much the show would cost us." Christine will begin airing in syndication this fall.

I am disappointed! I love The New Adventures of Old Christine and Ghost Whisperer. I hope another channel picks them up.

Im sad at the ghost whisperer is being cancelled . I have been a long time watcher of this show . friday nights will not be the same without the ghost whisperer . I hope Jennifer love hewitt and the rest of the cast find something else to do . I also love camryn manheim she used to be on the practice and loved her there too . I hope they all find something new awaiting in their future .

I'm surprised about Ghost Whisperer. I've never seen it, but my DW is a fan and it always seems to get positive headlines in the media section.

All of the other shows they cancelled will not be missed. They were poor at best. (IMHO)

I don't watch any of them. I've seen a few episodes of "Christine." Not bad, but nothing I'd ever go out of my way to watch.

What, not canceling Medium? They've "jumped the shark" on that series long ago. Ghost talking through home alarm to child? Gotta save a little pig from slaughter cause it's the only witness? but no, they're canceling Ghost Whisperer instead.
