I should have taken pictures yesterday. My son, DIL, and I were at Rose City Flying Clays shooting a round of sporting clays. Absolutely a beautiful perfect day to be outside, and they've got a beautiful course. Recent upgrades and modernizations so it's competing with the big boys like Elm Fork in Dallas, too. Nice folks - if you are a recreational shooter you should check it out.

^There is actually skyline from that angle. Pretty cool for a city that size. Is that from the north?

From the southeast looking northwest.

The crane on the left is for a new 5 story parking garage which will get rid of an empty surface lot & replace it with replica facades of historic Downtown Tyler that were demolished, such as the original clock tower that once sat a top the old courthouse on the square. The crane of the right is for the Smith County Jail expansion.

Old lot:

Wish someone would get their camera or whatever electronic device there is in 2017 and update this. Metromatt, left Tyler or at least the forum almost 4 years ago. Any new posters interested. The Cascades Stretford Mid-rise, all the The Villages at Cummberland Road development. Around the loop, down Broadway, all the new building at Tyler Junior College, especially U. T. Tyler, new Business and large parking garage going in now. There stuff, on Earl Campbell and West Loop, actually the Centene Corporation and the new dialysis center.

I don't have a camera, and really don't know how good I would be taking pictures, not toooooooo excited at this point "doing it" lol
