Congratulations Dee. This is one I can vote for Longview as best. Again, Tyler doesn't reach out, work hard for convention money, because they don't want to spend money, also, it is reported Tyler misses 20,000 conventioneers each year because of lack of space at the current convention center, too small. There's talk of a new one in the next twenty years, but the proposal I saw was for a building about the same size? Are they planning that both building will be used and this idea should work? Anyway, Longview has this one locked down.

I voted for Longview because I have the economically knowledge to know that Longview do a heck of a better job then the other cities with Nacogdoches being place at number 2 on the list with all the happenings here in this city.Lufkin and Tyler need to do better at bring events into there city to serve there regional population so people wouldn't have to leave their own community to find excitement.
I am not saying that these cities are at the bottom but not at the top!

I honestly don't think the people or leadership of Tyler care anything about whether or not conventions come to their city.

Seem like people don't care because on C-D people don't even think it should be up for discussion but hey the other cities are I guess happy!

I see Tyler still have 0 votes in the Tyler Forum and that lets me know that the people of Tyler know that the city is boring and need to do better with hosting convention.
