My husband and I are searching endlessly for a home with some land (5 acres or more) but that also isn't super secluded. We want to have neighbors but not 300 feet away from us like now
. We drive around each weekend looking for anything similar to this but have only found two places similar to what we are looking for just south of Lindale & the other just south of Ore City. We can live anywhere within an hour of Tyler in any direction. (but would prefer living in overton/arp/troup/kilgore area) Thanks in advance for ANY help!

There's tons of countryside around here in every direction. Your issue is going to be finding five acres or so for a reasonable price. It seems like everyone wants five acres, but they want to pay a price per acre the same as if they were buying 500 acres. Five acre tracts are few and far between, and usually expensive.

. We drive around each weekend looking for anything similar to this but have only found two places similar to what we are looking for just south of Lindale & the other just south of Ore City. We can live anywhere within an hour of Tyler in any direction. (but would prefer living in overton/arp/troup/kilgore area) Thanks in advance for ANY help!
