I live in the states and i hear puerto rico is soo nice; the beaches; culture; food..etc; is there any housing in a nice area (low crime rate; for a big city) for (0-550 usd)?

Umm, not sure. It's hard to calculate prices (monthly rates) because I'm sure you have to sign contracts and all sorts of crap.

Notice the left column on the Point2 site, it's broken down by areas. I personally like "Classificados", it gives you more information.

There are a lot of homeowner's that split their houses into apartments and rent them out (or build 2 rental units above their house). Those tend to be more affordable and well priced for students. I recommend you do check the classifieds and perhaps also talk to a real estate agent to help you out.

you can get a nice apartment in jobos and isabela areas for 400. per month. a car about 4 grand clean. and this place is different ill give you that. but after a while you will build friends here and then when you get accepted .its all good. ive been there and done that.......love it
