At the time of this posting 26 of the 28 threads on page 1 are about Puerto Rico. Is it time to petition the admin for another shot at a dedicated Puerto Rico forum? Or should we wait for statehood, PR will be listed between Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, hmmm.

I agree, if not a forum, at least a subforum/section with a link for each territory under US Territories as the main forum.

Dunno, there was post a while ago and moderator decided against it, who knows why, as it makes perfect sense if one wants to read about Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, etc., there should be a link for each area respectively where one does not have the arduous task of sorting through so many posts to read about the area of one's interest.

The moderators did give the idea some thought awhile back and said they'd give it more consideration in the future depending on forum activity. PR certainly does dominate the territory form but we'll have to see what they come up with...un poco más adelante en el camino.

I think views might go down real fast if they place us in some hard to find corner of the forum. While I may not be for statehood, placing us with the rest of the states would actually draw curiosity towards the forum compared to placing us in some other regional forum, considering city-data is a mostly northamerican forum.

I do not think it should be integrated with the US states, but right here in this same forum under US Territories, with links to each respective area as does the General Forums with separate links to categories.

For example, iF you look at the state of Wisconsin, they have Madison and Milwaukee links as does every other state, this section should have Puerto Rico, Guam, and US Virgin Islands as links with separate categories as they are separate areas.

I don't know what reasons have been given by the forum moderators (probably too little a forum left over for USVI and Guam), but at first glance it all seem to me as the same kind of BS that almost 4M american citizens have to put up with: disenfranchisement. For some things, Puerto Rico is as good as a state; but for so many (like this site), it seems as an afterthought.

Not to offend the owners of this great shop, after all, they got it right; Puerto Rico IS NOT a state. Nevertheless is big enough, outstanding enough, and even close enough, as to have its own forum. C'mon!!!!!

Yes please do this. When I was first planning to move to Puerto Rico I completely dismissed this web site when I saw PR thrown in with the rest of the territories. I figured there was no movement on this site for PR and looked elsewhere and I didn't want to have to weed through Guam and the Virgin Islands.

Each of the territories needs their own area.
