Any body have any info on Puerto Rico real estate? I hear that the west coast of Puerto Rico is booming! If you buy at $150,000. today in 6 months it could be worth double what you paid!!!!
Would love to hear from anyone with some Rincon Puerto Rico input.

P.S. I'm a jersey Gal

Beware of all get rich quick schemes. If someone really thought it would double in 6 months they'd buy it themselves and borrow money to buy as much as possible. They wouldnt be telling you.

yeah I laughed when I read the first post. Puerto Rico booming? Maybe compared to Haiti. Run from whoever you are talking to, don't walk away, run! There are safer real estate investments, like swampland in Florida.

PR culture is not welcoming to the get rich fast on real estate and out price the locals culture. There are laws and an economic structure that keep this
in check. ie environmental laws. I'am sure the people in PR wouldn'tappreciate this...it is understandable.

Sounds like a get rich trick. Likley they are trying to sell you a $75k house for $150k thats going down in value. No house in history ever doubles in 6 months. 5 years yes and everyones buying.

I don't see it as a way to go in and double your money in 6months. If you invest in PR is because you love it (which is not too hard to do) and you could also rent it out to others to help you with your mortgage.

Fully expected her to follow up with a link to a site that walks you through how to make zillions from the comfort of your own bathroom!

Have you actually been to the "west coast" of Puerto Rico? Not exactly the prettiest part of the island, esp compared to areas on the south coast or the east, like around Fajardo.

I agree with MoeMark completely. This is not the reality there now. And there are nice places in the west coast, like anywhere else in the world.
