it will rain. everyday. at 2pm.

southside of the island receives less rain.

some beaches are near river mouths so you need to avoid those in the rainy season like Anasco Beach (Tres Hermanos) on the west coast.

bio-luminescent bays are less glowy in rainy seasons and nights with full moons.

my advice is to wake up early so you can enjoy the day before the rain hits. find somewhere to chill during the rain because it can get intense. after the rain, an hour or so, it will hopefully have cracked the heat and the city will cool off a bit. worse case it doesn't and then it gets super hot and muggy. and you will die.

I visit PR yearly. IMO, the absolute best month to visit is March. Why?
  • Lower humidity
  • Mild rain (at worse)
  • Temperatures in the mid to upper 70's
  • Cool coastal breeze in the early evening
Good luck!
