While I don't live in Puerto Rico, sometimes I order items on Amazon to my family members in Puerto Rico.

Over the past two months, I have been seeing significant improvement in Amazon's shipping times to Puerto Rico. Order processing time has been significantly reduced, and more orders seem to be going out via USPS Priority Mail instead of ParcelPool/International Bridge.

I wonder, has anyone had the same experience? I wonder if Amazon wants Prime members in Puerto Rico to get more of their money's worth of their Prime membership considering the price increase.

People are shopping for more high end things now in Puerto Rico. Things Amazon does not sell.

Maybe the tourists, but I highly doubt that is the case for most of the locals, many of which cannot afford luxury items.
