Many people say Dorado is expensive. It is, but just a little bit.

In a way, it's a good thing that Dorado is a bit more expensive than other areas of the island. Higher prices keep rif-raf away and that makes for a safer place.

WOW... it seems very expensive in these parts.. It looks like things are cheaper further west and in San Juan.. Obviously San Juan is more urban and a different feel.. not sure about places like Sabana and Cerro Gordo... I didnt venture there... I did go over to Fajardo and up into the El Yunque Forest .. Seems nice over there as well.

Next time I visit I want to get down to Ponce. If others have some insight on it I would be curious.. Seems like a smaller urban center and not as congested as San Juan.. though I do not consider San Juan to be unbearably urban ... Just looking at prices some of these other areas seem more reasonable
