Apparently some US territories are on the other side of the world, if they all became a state how would election days go with all the different time zones? Would some of them need to do elections a day before, have mail-in ballots, etc?

The US as it is right now has several time zones and it hasn't created election issues for states such as Alaska or Hawaii. Why would it be a problem for places like Guam? Just hold elections on the same day and tally up their votes. Done.

Given that overseas territories tend to ve miniscule with the exception of Puerto Rico (it is small, but with a population of 3 million that's more than the population of some states), presidents will be decided by states on the mainland more often than not.
