Searching retirement options and PR is tops on the list. The plan is to buy some land and live in a camper while slowly building my house, but I may be in the camper for many years before the house is completed. My question is... can you do that there? In Tennessee you can do whatever you want on your land if its unrestricted, but in Florida there really isn't much "unrestricted" land. I've lived in both places and where I lived in FL you can temporarily live in a camper while building, but you must show periodic process. In TN you can live in it forever if you want. Anyone know if its the same in PR? I have searched the internet but haven't found anything on the subject. Thanks.

For the cost of shipping a camper to the island, you could likely build a "tiny" home, and not need to worry about RV regulations....just a thought.

Pretty sure they sell them on the island. Wasn't going to get a fancy new one.
