Cobolt I pulled out the old photo album and found the names of a few beaches. If I'm not mistaken some of these beaches can only be accessed thru the navy base at the southern part of the island. It's too bad I don't have this pictures from my trip on disk or else I'd post them. Maybe I'll do that after the new year.
-Gab Gab Beach Fortifications
-Dadi Beach Japanese Defensive Fortification
-Spanish Steps-A step trail and steps leading from the top of Orote Peninsula down the north face of the cliff to the shore. Built by the Spanish and used to haul water up to the forts from a natural well at the base.

I'm thinking it's either Gab Gab or H-a-p-u-t-o. I know you could only access it through the Navy base there just south of Andersen, near Dededo. Oh well.

Are you moving to Guam or what?

Believe me if I could move to Guam I'd be on the first plane off the mainland! Problem is I have to find a job there first and a place to stay.

I really liked Guam. I extended my tour of duty there I liked it so much. And with all this yucky winter weather and my increasing impatience with it as I age, Guam looks nicer all the time. Maybe we can team up on the job and apartment front. Two heads are better than one. ya know?

I really liked Guam when I was there, it is where I got certified for scuba. I spent most of my free time diving the waters around Guam.
