I love the fact they so neatly compiled it in color-by-number format what I've been colloquially verbalizing here for months. Let's do a recap for the color blind or the otherwise too lazy to read the report shall we? Disclaimer: This may get touchy for the denialists in the room....Here we go...

-GDP is 60% of FIRE, services, government, transportation (including majority government), followed by manufacturing....hmm kinda like the US in general what a coincidence. A taco bell economy with the #1 employer being the government.

-Personal consumption has it's largest share on what? What's behind curtain #1 Johnny? It's 50% for SERVICES yeeiii, give it up for the island of enchantment people! And we'll throw you a bonus while we're at it and further itemize that services bracket.....Ready? 26% for Housing, 15% for health care and 23% for transportation and recreation!!!! *crowd goes wild* Come down to PR, where you'll get paid less than a mexican immigrant selling water and spend more than half of your income on cheap crap, cars you can;t afford, houses you can't afford, being sick on your days off, and going to the movies and chilis! Man are you sure these are the PR stats or are we talking about Cleveland OH?¿

-Oh but it gets better! Since nobody produces anything somehow somebody has to pick up the tab for the island's paper solvency...that's where uncle sam picks up the tab! Yeeiiii. 10 BILLION dollars!!! Of which 82% went to earned benefits, yei for medicare/medicaid. 17% went to gratuitites, which is speak for, what's that Johnny??? Oh yes.....Food stamps!!!!! Only 15% of said 17% went to scholarships though we wouldn't want to educate these folks, we need consumers not citizens...

-Speaking of citizens, where are they going Johnny? Not sure lets look at the demographics table......BRAIN DRAIN!!! yeiiiiiiii. According to our nifty little table population drops off after 19....what's behind curtain #2? Exodus of the educated class and death of the uneducated class under the drug wars yeeiiiii!!!

-Should we address public debt Johnny? Sure thing, just like in America, not only are the people in debt up to their eyeballs, so is the government. According to our color by number chart public debt stands at 43 BILLION dollars!!!! Ding ding ding, if PR was a state, we'd have a WINNER!!!

*ugh*
Jesus, I could go on, there is nothing on that whole report that points to anything but the blueprints for a failed service-economy-ridden dispossessed welfare state banana republic where I had the pleasure of growing up and prepare to flee away from like a space shuttle launcher. Anybody who chooses to minimize, dismiss, deflect or otherwise misrepresent the facts presented by that report we call a freggin mirror for some feeble valuation of good weather and "fritangas" on the side of the road needs to get their heads checked......That's a report on what NOT to do, then again the mainland is but their template, so CONUS is not off the hook on the demise of the island....
