I am considering moving to PR soon. I work from home for a US (Washington state) based company and can take my job wherever I'd like. Does anyone what the tax situation for someone who lives in PR and works for an employer on the mainland would be? Would I still pay income tax as usual-w2 and filing as usual every year and all that.
Also, I sometimes do some freelance work for other people on contract (1099) basis. What about that?
