At the risk of sounding paranoid, I have to ask someone.

Are the noises we repeatedly hear in the night firecrackers or gunshots? (north Ponce area)

Each night I drive down to north Ponce to practice my rifle shooting skills. My practice targets are the coquies, but the little buggers are hard to find and even more difficult hit, so the practice shooting usually last for few hours or so ^_^

If you hear a lot of bangs simultaneously followed by a few, it is firecrackers.

If you hear bangs at a steady rate, about 1 per second, then it's definitely gunshots.
