American Airlines will add flights from Puerto Rico this year after slashing its local operations by nearly half in recent years, Gov. Luis Fortuño announced Wednesday.
No jobs were to be added with the new flights.
The addition of four flights in mid November will bring the number of American Airline flights from Puerto Rico to 24 per week. The routes include a daily flight to Dulles International Airport outside Washington D.C. and additional flights to Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles.
