I would insist that they wear gloves. I worked for 7 years as a Paramedic in Puerto Rico and there were always gloves available in all medical facilities that I went to. I always wore them whenever there was a possibility of bodily fluid contact.
Television coverage of car wrecks is much more graphic in PR. Cameras will show close up shots of accident victims still in the cars.
They should be more considerate and respectful.
