Sounds most likely that it's lost in the mail on the way
to EDD, and wasn't received by them, thus the automated system would would not report the claim processed.
If the check had been misdelivered or lost in the mail on the way
to you the automated system would have reported the claim processed, but you would not have received the check.
The first case above is the one you described -

Might want to give 'em a jingle and see if they got it or why the delay in processing.
