Well my NJ Tier 4 unemployment benefits are ending after the next week from .
I see I am eligible for the EB it looks like.
My question is I see you have to supply 3 places you have looked for work every week which is fine as I do that already. However I almost always submit applications online. Can I use online applications for that to send in?
I read some on it and looked like you had to submit contact info for 3 places a week. So wanting to know how that works. Do I have to go to the places in person instead of online to have someone sign that there was no work or something like that? I apply everywhere and no luck so far.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I used mostly all internet jobs. I used Monster and Nukeworker. I collected all weeks with no problems.

Ok yeah I use Monster and a few other places and was worried that they wouldn't accept online applications or anything. Thought they would need a contact person or something like that as they stated I had to fill out a form to send in every 2 weeks or something like that.
All local places require filling out an application anyways so most are done online now.

Hi there,

I am just starting with this extension (I completed 4 ext). Were you always able to provide the contact person in the company where you applied? If not, what did you mention in that column? Did unemployment agency ever contact you to ask for more information or details about your work search or ask you to go in to get some training etc or send you some job details that were lower level compared to your skills and asked you to apply for those jobs?

It's not a problem. Don't worry about it. Just keep a separate record of what you have applied for and what website it was. Under contact name I simply put "website." Never been a problem. Most every job over minumum wage requires a web application so they are well aware of it.

Ok great. Thank you. That is good to hear. Just finished up Tier 4 today so will be notified by mail if I'm eligible for EB I guess. Don't see why I wouldn't be though.
