No. If you wish to
confirm that your account has been credited, you can call your local UI office -- but
it is not necessary to call to have the balance updated for the new Tier.
In New Jersey, when you exhaust a level of unemployment benefits, your claim is automatically reviewed for eligibility for the next level of benefits.
When you complete a Tier, you generally are eligible for the next Tier available.
Just follow the instructions you received and file your claim as usual on the date you have been instructed to. BTW, it doesn't matter whether you file online or on the phone -- your claim will be processed in the same amount of time.
The zero balance you see on your last form simply means that you have exhausted that level. Your account is automatically credited with the next Tier's payments after your exhaust the previous Tier's balance.
