I apologize if this has already been asked. I called the Pennsylvania UC center and they said I had approximately $1500 left in my tier 3 account. I would collect $1100 the week ending November 13. I would than only have roughly $400 left for my next claim on November 27. Would I qualify to convert to Tier IV prior to the November 30 deadline becasue I didn't have full funds available on November 27??

They don't provide too much help when you call the office!!!!

The current eligibility cut-off date for moving from one Tier to the next Tier is Sunday, November 28. That means you must exhaust your current Tier no later than Saturday, November 27.

Since you will exhaust Tier III on that Saturday, you will automatically move to Tier IV.

However, you may be able to start Tier IV sooner than Sunday, November 28. Since you appear to have less than one week's payment as the balance in your account after the weeks ending November 13, Pennsylvania may allow you to claim that payment early (at the end of one week rather than waiting for the second week). If so, then you can start Tier IV on Sunday, November 21.

Contact your local UI office, explain that you will have a small balance left on your account after claiming for the weeks ending November 13, and ask if you can file your next claim early rather than waiting the full two weeks.
