Okay, well I just got a part time job, not sure if this is a thank god or not thing, BUT it is now causing concerns somewhat and I'm wondering if anyone would know the answer.

Let's us all just assume unemployment tiers benifits will continue until the end of time, (meaning tier 5, 6, 37, etc) for sake of my question.

In connecticut, when I start working, I also can collect partial benifits which I do understand, it's something for ct along the lines of taking 2/3 of what I earn and subtracting that from my unemployment weekly benifits, the remaining amount is what I get. So for easy numbers, I make $100 in part time earning and $200 in unemployment, so $66 is subtracted from my unemployment which makin my unemployment check $133. If I understand it correctly.

But now what happens if I finish off Tier 3 money, and am still part-time employed, do I move to Tier 4, then 5, then 6, etc etc etc, or when the money runs out of Tier 3, I only get my part time earnings and nothing else?

Also, as a side note, EB, since currently that is what I'd be moving into next anyway, when tier 3 runs out (which is what I'm on) do I still switch to EB, and still receive partial earnings since ct does continue with 20 weeks of EB if benifits are not continued Nov 30th?

I'm hoping I made sense.

You should receive partial benefits whether on the tier extensions or EB assuming both are extended as written today. Amendments are always possible.
