Hello everyone i was recently let go of an assignment through my temp agency for attendance i was rushed to er and because of this had to miss work during the 3 days i was hospitalized, i made sure i communicated with my staffing agency and also made sure to follow proper call of procedures. After returning to work my temp agency called me in and requested to see me she informed to me that the assignment has decided to let me go due to attendance she apologized and said she understood i was in hospital and had all documents supporting this and because of that i am still employed by staffing agency but not assignment. Now before i took this position i was already getting unemployment from previous job but i stopped certifying once i was employed by temp agency so when i was discharged from assignment i filed unemployment to open back up previous claim later i got letter stating temp agency said i was discharged for misconduct so i would have a phone interview after getting this letter i contacted my recruiter to make sure i was still employed by temp agency she stated i was. I took interview call and the lady asked was i let go from agency i stated no and told my story she seemed mainly concerned with knowing if i was still employed by agency.. It has. Een a week and no determination has been made i have certified twice already. Please help what do you guys think my chances are of winning and how long does this process take this is my first time filing did i mess this up with taking call can my temp agency fight this even if its a previous claim from previous job
Sorry 1 more thing as far as other assignment i asked my recruiter about it she stated in an email im more then welcome to apply to positions on their website and that she only recruit for assignment i was on
There is no point in discussing this now. The time to get help is BEFORE you deal with the UI people. You had your call, and you can't change anything now. You need to wait for your determination, and if it's adverse, then you come back and get help preparing for an appeal BEFORE you go doing something on your own and then telling us after the fact.
I know i apologize for being illiterate to the fact of asking after the fact and although whatever happened has already happened i still just want to know my chances of winning and if i need to start preparing for an appeal
I honestly just read a few of you guys post and see you have a keen idea of what decision may be made based off of the situation presented so i am aware that i can not undo what is already done i just figured since you guys are so informative about UI it wouldn't hurt to get you guys opinion sorry if my question or situation upsets or offends anyonr completely not my intentions just wanted a few opinions
Chyvan and what do you mean adverse do you mean if it is denied?
