I have submitted hundreds of applications since the beginning of December and I've had 2 interviews (1 phone ,the other in-person). The in-person interview was just short of a month ago (I am assuming I didn't get, but didn't receive a rejection letter?).

My question is when should I expect more interviews? I am looking for anecdotal experiences. The holidays are over and I know it takes time to sift through resumes.

Thanks.

Keep up the great effort. I would suggest the waves of interviews can roll in at any moment.

of course its possible that there might be a lull in interviews as well.

To answer your question specifically would be quite difficult.

Good luck.

The job I was hired for sat on my resume for 4 months before calling for an interview but I was hired within 2 weeks and start next week, so it really depends. And the no call back in 4 weeks is a no. Most companies don't bother sending rejection letters.

Don't get discouraged. I have been out of work since July, had maybe three interviews from July through December, just this week I have 3, one yesterday, one today, and one this coming Monday, one is a really great job with more $ than I was making so I am hoping for that one, one is for less than I make on unemployment so not sure if I would take that one if offered, and one is middle of the road.

My other three interviews I got one rejection letter ( and I've seen the same position same hours posted 3x since then so I guess it's not such a great position if they keep looking to fill it), the other two I never heard a thing.

One friend I have in HR says you wouldn't believe the amount of resumes she gets for each posting....it is not you, it's the economy and competition. Two interviews in a month isn't too bad..

Default Update

I had an employer contact me through email about positions that will be opening. They are keeping me in mind.

I have two interviews next week.
