Hi!

I've been receiving unemployment benefits since November of last year. I started working for the IRS March 1st. The IRS job is part-time, on call, and it's temporary (Only working for three months for the tax season). My recent EDD check that I received was for the weeks 2/20 thru 2/26 and 2/27 thru 3/5. Since I worked the one week, EDD sent me 133.00 for the week that I didn't work which is what I was expecting. But, with this most recent check, I didn't received a claim form. In place of the claim form it says

"Do not complete or return this form, disregard the pre-printed text on the back. NOT A CLAIM FORM"

Since my job is part-time and some weeks I won't even be working because its on-call, would that stop my benefits completely? I was aware that if the job was part-time that you would still receive benefits, just not as much per check, depending on how much you made at work that week.

The week of 3/7, I only worked a total of 8 hours so EDD should make up the difference but I have no claim form.

I hope that they don't stop my benefits, I won't have the IRS job forever and the pay isn't steady.

I'm going call EDD on Monday and see what's up but if anyone can help me out, I appreciate it! Thanks!

I still have money left, but EDD sent me a separate claim form today in the mail so looks like I'm still able to receive my benefits =)
Thanks

I received a claim form in the mail from EDD after I received my last payment which I completed, signed and mailed back in a timely manner. Prior to this, I received a letter stating that if I qualify for federal extension, it will be filed automatically on my behalf. To date, I have not received any type of correspondence from EDD regarding the federal extension. I've checked my EBT balance and nothing has been credited to my account. I'm concerned.
