I opened a UI claim in NJ in 2008 at the local office. I received 99 weeks worth of benefits.
After they were exhausted I finally got work through a temp agency in the Mortgage industry. The position ended this month. The agency thinks I will eventually be called back. If I am not working by April 1, 2011 I will open a new claim but was thinking of doing this online.
Has anyone opened a claim on-line?
Should it be done on Internet Explorer? Can it be done with Mozilla as the browser?

It is easy and relatively efficient to open a claim online in the NJ UI system. You can use whatever browser you wish.

Just FYI -- you cannot use the NJ online system to open a new claim at your BYE, if you expect to continue on your original claim. But opening a completely new claim -- as you have described -- is not a problem.
